Delegates and patrons to the 140 th National Grange Convention gathered in Springfield, Illinois November 14 -18 to renew old acquaintances and to get down to the business of setting Grange policy for 2007.

A total of 103 resolutions were passed covering nine key policy areas: Audit and Budget, Agriculture, Citizenship and Public Affairs, Conservation and Natural Resources, Education and Health, Growth and Development, Grange Law, Labor and Judiciary, and Transportation, Taxation and Fiscal Policy.

These resolutions will guide the internal and external operations of the Grange during 2007. Those resolutions dealing with federal legislation will be reflected in the 2007 National Grange Legislative Policy Manual to be published by the end of the first quarter.
