| MAY 27, 2024 -- Sorry, there was no news in the April issue of the Connecticut Granger. A call for help from two of my nephews and the computer repair all confirmed the computer was dead and I needed a new one.
The March 17th meeting was just like old times. We had 38 in attendance and 11 candidates received the Fifth Degree. They were: Peter Whitman, Stephen Fengler and Kathleen Aubrey- Bergonzi all from Wallingford Grange and Charles MacMath, Janet Rotunda, Carol Gudzik, Carol Raynor, Greg Valerte, Patricia Golias and Lori Golias-Burany all from Greenfield Hill Grange and Stephanie Cooperman from Coventry Grange.
Put a reminder in your date book that our next meeting will be held on June 2 at Beacon Valley Grange in Naugatuck. On the agenda will be Election of Officers. Beacon Valley Grange will provide the refreshments.
Our deepest sympathies are extended to the family and Lyme Grange on the passing of our Past Lecturer Lois Evankow. Lois really enjoyed being Lecturer and loved to entertain everyone. She loved to write letters and send cards. I had the privilege of being on her mailing list. She is missed.
