Mar News from Greenfield Hill Grange No. 133

It was a “Souper” night at the Greenfield Hill Grange on Feb 17 at the Soup Supper. Grange members made homemade soup and others volunteered to help make grilled cheese. Some of the delicious homemade soups were : French Onion, Vegetable, Chicken Soup, Beef Barley, Cream of Broccoli, Hungarian Mushroom, Cheesy Creamy Ham and Potato, & Chicken Orzo.

The evening included Brown Bag Bingo and everyone had a blast!

We are planning a Chili Cook Off for April 20. Advanced reservations required. Call Jim : 203-259-8023. On May 18 a luncheon will be held from 12-2. The topic-- Getting to know your backyard pollinators!!! Bees- wasps-hornets/ Friends not Foes. Tammi Worsham from the Weston Backyard Beekeepers Association will be the guest speaker. Donation $20 - prepaid reservations a must by May 12. Choice of Chicken, Egg or Tuna Salad with Caesar Salad. Please call Jim. 203-259-8023.

SAVE THE DATE: Our annual Good Friday Fish Fry will be held on March 29, 2024. Batter dipped fish or batter dipped shrimp, Cole slaw, French fries. Eat in or Take out! Reservations a MUST.
