Oct. 5: Harvest Fest + Monthly Meeting

Nov. 2: Give Thanks Members + Monthly Meeting

Dec. 7: Holiday-Celebration + Monthly Meeting

It’s been a busy summer and early fall at the Norfield Grange. We wrapped up the school year at our June meeting by hosting a Celebration BBQ to honor our two WHS Grange Scholarship Winners: Karl Schulz ($500 recipient) and Dylan Mondrus ($200 recipient). In July we hosted a successful “Stay- Cation” Paint & Pizza Night too hot outside for Plein Air Painting but cool paintings were created inside. August was filled with Fair Meetings preparing for the big day. Unfortunately, it rained on our Fair Day - Sunday, Sept. 10th... but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the Grangers or Fairgoers who came out and generously shared their bounty with us to the tune of $1,792 in profit - a whopper of a year!! The proceeds came from an amazing, curated raffle, the comeback of our snack bar including baked potatoes with the works and the introduction of the slime machine + plus our Best in Show Winner at the Fair was Past President, Roland Poirier who grew in his backyard “Mexican Sunflowers”!! Two days later on Sept. 12th our esteemed State Grange President Bob Buck and his wonderful wife Maggie came to join us for our monthly meeting and helped us to Welcome” two new members Kate and Chloe Worrell plus the two youngest in the family

- Dean and Flynn have become +1 Grangers as Junior Affiliates.
