We had a very successful and productive meeting in September with 5 resolutions approved to be sent on to Pomona. Cheri had asked us to put on our thinking caps and we sure did. Hopefully, the members of Pomona will pass them on to State. We had a total of 9 members and 2 guests, Noel and Marcia Miller. Next month we go to Coventry Grange to present the program “Witches Seen”, and the following night the members of Coventry Grange will visit us here in Vernon to present their program. This continues as we try to stay connected with our neighbors.
Our Community Service report was finished and sent on to the Overseer. Long time member Elizabeth Robertson has moved to Sarasota Fla. We miss you and hope to see you on Zoom. Claudia Sopstyle has had a hip replacement and will be out for a while. Get well soon and best wishes to both you and Elizabeth. While the good weather prevails, we will have meetings in person and love to have visitors. The door is always open and the light is always on. If you see someone without a smile, give him one of yours.
