February 1, 2021 -- Well, December was full of surprises as we went from a White Christmas to a warm wet winter solstice and back to cold and wet. For January, we can be sure that our hands can be kept busy. For those who were not at the Regional meetings, I should be getting the action packets printed and mailed to me from the state secretary soon so I can mail them out to you. In there you will find the new contest featured this year for the men in our granges! It is to Create any birdhouse in any medium. The only restriction is the size. It can be no larger than 12’” x 12” x 12” Judging will be on workmanship and creativity. All bird houses will be returned. We will also have our regular contest which is to create a door stop using any brick or block of wood equal to the

So there is plenty to keep busy with along with the theme contest of Sunflowers and all of the needlework categories. I can’t wait to see all of your entries! Please don’t forget that we will be raffling off our beautiful gift basket. You can get your tickets from your CWA Chairman - 2 for $1.00. You have until February 14th to buy your tickets.
