| JUNE 25, 2012 -- Charles “Mick” Berger, age 81, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the husband of Helen (Lovely) Berger for 58 years.
Born in New Britain, Conn., on January 17, 1931, he was the son of the late Sherwood and Margaret (Eaton) Berger. Mick graduated from Cheshire Academy and attended Duke University. He worked as a telephone supervisor with SNET for 25 years, retiring in 1982. He enjoyed building, woodworking and his computer.
In addition to his loving wife, Helen, he is survived by two sons, Charles Jr. and his wife, Amy, and Richard and his wife, Valerie, all of Winchester Center; a sister, Sarah Bramblett of California; two granddaughters, Courtney Davis and Victoria Berger; three grandsons, Nicholas, Andrew and Daniel Berger; and three great-granddaughters, Isabelle, Emma and Olivia.
Funeral services will be private.
