OCTOBER 18, 2012 -- According to a new poll taken by the National Rural Assembly/Center for Rural Strategies, Romney leads among rural voters by a full 22 points over Obama. Of course, I’m not allowed to make comment on political matters (the Grange is still a nonpartisan organization), but the article is pretty interesting and worth a quick read.
The poll questioned 600 rural voters living in nine states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. Usually considered swing states, voters in these areas could represent the larger picture for rural Americans everywhere.

P.S. Tomorrow I’m heading off to Michigan to attend the Michigan State Grange Session so I apologize if I don’t get to post another blog this week. |
