The National Grange along with the Granges of Connecticut are celebrating National Grange Month this April. The Hillstown Grange located in the Southeast end of East Hartford has members from East Hartford, Manchester, and Glastonbury. They have two very special events that the public is invited to.

We recently restarted our Junior Grange for children 5 to 14 and our Friday, April 17 event is a special Junior Grange in charge meeting featuring a program about what it is like for hearing- and vision impaired. Special speakers will be featured . We hope everyone can learn a little sign language. This event is open to all and we especially invite our local Scout Troops. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and the Grange is located at 617 Hills St., East Hartford. For more information please call Helen at 568-6268 .

The Hillstown Grange #87’s Annual Blue Grass Night featuring that old fashion Blue Grass Music with the Yankee Blue Grass Jammers will be held on Thursday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. The Hillstown Grange is located at 617 Hills St., East Hartford.
