Around The Grange
April Musings from Winchester Grange No. 74

By Todd Gelineau

  APRIL 8, 2023 --

Apr. 11: Spring is Here, Ref. by Randy & Kim Carlson

Apr. 25: April Showers (Country Store), Ref. by Todd Gelineau

May 9: Mother (Potluck at 6)

May 23: Memorial Day Program by the Chaplain, Ref. by Earl & Sandy Phillips.

Weather has interfered with Winchester’s last two regularly scheduled meetings with our second meeting of February canceled along with the first meeting of March.  Spring has sprung so we are hoping for better luck for our second meeting of March. Cross your fingers and join us on March 28 either in-person or on Zoom.

Hall improvements never end and by the time this issue is printed, we are hoping to have work on our restrooms completed. Our sincere thanks to the member who donated the money to have the floors re-done and the toilets replaced with modern handicap accessible versions.

At our next meeting we will be discussing plans to re-do lighting in the Post Office, replacing it with LED (energy-efficient models) and improving the lighting in the front parking area.

Until next time, enjoy the warming weather!
