Ramona Fassio Winchester Grange is proud to be a part of the 250th Anniversary of the Town of Winchester by hosting a dance at the hall on May 21 beginning at 7:00 P.M. The dance will be called by Rich Sbardella and should be a fun family-oriented event for all. This event was originally scheduled to open the anniversary celebration but COVID caused its postponement and re-scheduling as one of the final events of the celebration year.

Our building committee has been meeting on a regular basis working on a long-term plan for the preservation and maintenance of the hall. The town Fire Marshal was asked to tour the hall and make recommendations. Among them were new smoke alarms, exit signs and emergency lights. As of this writing work is being completed on those projects. In the not-so-distant future we will be looking at roof and window replacement among other items.   Fundraising and financial planning will be required to take on these big ticket items but Winchester Grange members always rise to the cause.

Until next time, you are always welcome to attend Winchester Grange meetings either in-person or on Zoom. Log-in information may be obtained by emailing info@ winchestergrange.org. Guests are also always welcome!
