| August 5, 2021 -- August 5th is our annual grange picnic at 6:00 p.m. Short business meeting followed by the cookout.
As I am typing this, I am not sure what we will do. We are meeting at the Masonic Hall, but still no refreshments following the meeting.
Sept. 2nd is Installation of Officers. 7:30 p.m.
July 17th, we put up a tent in front of the Masonic Hall and collect “backpacks” for the Glastonbury Social Service Department. We were there from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00
p.m. Then again on July 24th we had a table at the Farmers Market from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on the Hubbard Green in town to collect more “backpacks”. We had our new banner on display in front of the table and will also had some grange literature on the table.
We lost 6 members during this pandemic, so hopefully that has stopped. We need to gain some new members. Getting our name before the public in this fashion may help in this respect. It is a start.
