Hillstown Grange to host Garden Talk May 6th
  MAY 6, 2021 --

Hillstown Grange Garden Talk will be live and in person at the Grange Hall on May 6 at 7:00 Pm.  The evening will last until approximately 8:30 PM.

For those who would rather be safe for awhile longer, the Garden Talk will also be virtual once more with the aid of Zoom Meeting. To attend you can come on down to The Hall or you will have to have downloaded the Zoom app. It is free.

You are officially invited to attend as it is open to the public to discuss several gardening topics; Magnesium, Manganese and Molybdenum are next up in the Essential Nutrient series, Carbon to Nitrogen Ratio, Starting Cucumbers and Summer Squash Indoors, Benefits of No-Till Gardening, Weeds as Soil Indicators, Transplanting Tips, Tricks and Techniques, Japanese Tomato Ring, Staking, Caging and Growing Vertical. You may also bring your questions, keeping in mind we basically discuss vegetable and herb gardening but are known to tuck in flowers and other plants that aid beneficial insects in the garden and around the homestead.

For further information if you are not already on the Hillstown Grange Gardeners List and the code to get into the Zoom Meeting, you can contact Frank Forrest at hillstowngrange@aol.com or Dan Gallagher at daninct@yahoo.com after which you can be put on the Hillstown Grange Gardeners email list if you so wish. Links to interesting sites and attachments are sent out periodically in newsletter/emails as reminders of upcoming Garden Talks and Grange Events.

Everyone is invited to the meeting of gardeners helping gardeners become better gardeners. As always Hillstown Grange is looking for new members who wish to build a stronger, healthier community starting with their own backyards and expanding out into the broader community at large. The only requirement is to embrace Hillstown Grange's spirit of all inclusive community outreach.

Just contact Frank or Dan with any questions you may have and to start the process.
