DECEMBER 8, 2020 -- Dec. 11: Here Comes Santa Claus
Dec. 18: Caroling Around Town
On Oct. 9 Legislative Chairperson Nick Mullane caught us up on the political scene and passed out sample ballots for us to peruse. On the 30th we held our annual Halloween party with costumes ranging from a huge blue shark with wicked-looking teeth and a sparkly unicorn to a tiny Elsa and a miniature Dracula. Costume parades awarded prizes to all. Sue’s COVID friendly games kept the children happy and safe. They enjoyed Kick the Creature, Flying Ghosts, Feed Frankie, What Am I, Halloween Bingo and I Spy among others. As refreshments were not allowed, Sue made sure a special (absolutely delicious) Halloween cookie, made by Jenn Watrous, was included in everyone’s prize bag. “And a good time was had by all”!
If you would like to join us for our annual Christmas party, be sure to wear your mask. We will be delivering fruit baskets when we carol around town on the 18th and would love to have a few more voice join us. Just give the Lecturer or the Secretary a call. And if that strange October snow storm will just not repeat itself for a few months, next time we will tell you all about neat November. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays to all!
