Around The Grange
April 2020 News from North Stonington Community Grange No. 138

Apr. 10:  “The Stars in the Sky”

Apr.  24: “Community  Citizen Program”

February was a quiet month. We plan only one meeting with a snow date. Luckily there was no snow; but who knew? Our Charter was draped in loving memory of Mary Eppler, a Golden Sheaf member. We had a guest from the TVCCA who told us about their programs for seniors and the disabled. Then we learned a lot about love and took some quizzes on love and lovers. Lecturer Sue Pianka asks anyone who would like to participate in the Talent or A-Number contests to come and perform at our first meeting in April.

We will be honoring long-time members with seals and certificates at our April 24th meeting as well as recognizing our Community Citizen. Hope to see a large crowd there.

Unfortunately we have several members who are on the sick list. We wish them well and a speedy recovery! And if my daffodils don’t get buried under a surprise blizzard, next time I’ll tell you all about marvelous March.
