December 9, 2019 -- Dec. 13: “On a night like this” meeting at 7:30 followed by party.
Dec. 20: Caroling around town
At our first meeting in October we were honored to welcome all the town Selectman candidates to our meeting. Each spoke briefly, outlining their plans for our town if elected. The second meeting brought out all the little goblins and princesses to our annual Hallowe’en party.
The hall rocked with laughter as the costumed youngsters competed in games like Dem Bones, Bats in Your Belfry and Pass the Pumpkin. A cup social, run by Jason Miner during refreshments, helped us earn money for our Christmas baskets. Seth Riley won the jar of candy corn by coming the closest to the number in the jar.
Our one December meeting will be held at 7:30 with the party following. Please bring a wrapped gift for Santa’s bag (clearly marked with the child’s name) for each child you bring to the party. Sue’s program this year will include the talents of some of our talented youngsters. If you have a child who would like to participate in the program please contact Sue Pianka. And a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.
