Some old news: The Historical Society in town featured Glastonbury Grange on November 3 at the Masonic Hall in South Glastonbury. The evening events began at 4:00 P.M. A catered buffet dinner was served at 5:00 P.M. by Gardiners Market. At 6:00 P.M. the program for the evening was presented by Dr. Brian Chieffer from the Society which featured films from years ago of the fair and parades the Grange held for years. There were 74 people in attendance. It was a wonderful evening. All enjoyed seeing the parades and fairs from the past and recognizing some of the folks that are no longer with us.
December 5th is our meeting and Christmas party. We will have a short business meeting at 6:00 P.M. followed by a catered buffet dinner prepared by Gardiners Market. A program will follow, presented by Ann Posuniak and Kay Ruff.
Dec. 21 we will hold our monthly card party. We will then welcome 2020. We wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
