At our June meeting Dr. Brian Chiffer, a member of the local Historical Society, spoke to us. He said that the Historical Society would like to feature the grange in the fall. He suggested it could be on a Sunday afternoon beginning at 4:00 p.m. a supper at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Power Point presentation by him. This sounds really good to me. I will contact the State Grange office to pick up some grange literature for handout and a supply of a few grange applications. We are waiting to hear from the Mason’s to see if the hall will be available on November 3rd. More information will follow when available.
Here we are in the month of June already. Where did Spring go? I don’t think we had one.
Glastonbury wishes all a “Happy 4th of July “ and a very enjoyable summer. Before you know it, it will be Labor Day.
