Apr. 5: Root Beer; Ref: Cherie

March came in like a lion and is acting like a lamb right now. Let’s hope it continues. Crocus are up, so that’s a good sign. At our March meeting, we learned about hunger, food insecurity, food literacy and a food desert. We continue making plans to address these issues in our community. We played Grange Grocery Bingo with the prizes being a new re-usable bag filled with groceries. We donated a box of groceries to Cornerstone Food Pantry.

While we are saddened by the closing of Manchester Grange, we are delighted to welcome new members to Vernon Grange. Vernon Grange was happy to host the March meeting of Eastern Pomona.

In April, we will be draping our Charter. We will also be learning about root beer. Join us if you can, we welcome visitors.
