DECEMBER 31, 2018 --
Our 125th year is winding down. 2018 was a exciting year at our Grange. Along with our 125th celebration in April we held a variety of fundraisers. We hosted an Italian night, celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with Corned Beef And Cabbage, ended the Summer with our first ever Lobster Bake — with entertainment by Mike Kachuba, CT State Troubadour, and in December held an all you can eat pasta night.
We also hosted a Spring Boutique and. Holiday Boutique.
At our November meeting, we gave thanks and celebrated our friendship with a Thanksgiving dinner. We had Turkey and all the fixin’s with each member bringing their signature dish.
Our Agricultural Fair was a great success. Our 2019 fair will be held on September 14th. Save the date!
Thank you to all our committees and volunteers who helped throughout the past year. Thank you to Jim Golias and Pam Deegan for cleaning the walls. Thank you to Jim Golias, Pam Deegan and Nancy Olson for sprucing up the tables with fresh paint. Many thanks to ALL who helped take care of the building and/or grounds and at our events.
Thank you for all donations made to the Grange throughout the year. Your generosity is much appreciated.
As the winter winds begin to blow, we would like to take time to extend our gratitude and wishes to all. May peace be upon your homes and may health and happiness abound in 2019. Happy New Year from the Greenfield Hill Grange. |
