Our Congratulations to George Russell of Riverton Grange for becoming Master of the Connecticut State Grange. Thanks to Bethlehem Grange for organizing the reception for George and Sharon at Memorial Hall on December 9 from 1 to 3 P.M.
The December meeting of Mountain Laurel was held on Sunday, Dec. 2. Taghhannuck Grange Hall was full of members and a nice meeting and program was enjoyed by all. Visiting was State Exec. Comm. Chairman Jody Cameron and Joan Perry, Master of Senexet Grange. Jody attended to deliver the box of toiletries earmarked for Mountain Laurel from the National Grange Convention in Stowe, Vermont. The supplies will be distributed to organizations serving veterans in the ML Pomona area. The Pomona also voted to contribute $100 to the Love for Lillian Fund set up by the Connecticut State Grange Foundation.
