| JANUARY 4, 2019 -- Hillstown Grange is holding a quiche dinner and Free Garden Seed event on Thursday, January 24. Doors open at 6:00 p.m for a quiche dinner of 2 slices of quiche, salad, desert and drink for a donation of $5.00. We will be featuring several different quiches to choose from.
The Agricultural Committee has cases of seed packets that at 7:00 p.m.everyone can pick up some packets of seeds while they last. We have flower and vegetable seed packets.
Our upstairs hall will be open during dinner for people to check out waiting for seed event to open.
We will also be announcing our schedule for a new series about gardening with a master gardener and composter.
Our Ag Fair growing challenge will be announced. Our Vegetable this year is largest tomato by weight and flower is largest cushion mum by diameter of bloom.
Hillstown Grange is located at 617 Hills Street, East Hartford, CT. Located in the Hillstown corner of East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Manchester since 1888. The Grange is the oldest Agricultural group in the United States.
