All of our regularly scheduled meetings have been held throughout the summer. We had a very successful fair on August 19 with many entries for judging. I wish to thank all who worked tirelessly to make this happen, including the judges.
Officers were elected in June and will be installed by the Prelli team at the September meeting.
Our members are really needed in preparing for the Riverton Fair dinners which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14 and 15, turkey on Saturday and ham on Sunday. We will be setting up the hall and preparing vegetables on Friday night, Oct. 13.
Please try to attend meetings if you are able. We have had good meetings this summer with sparse attendance. It is much more interesting to have more members present for the lecturer as well as the refreshment committee. |
