On Saturday, Oct. 7, a farm to table tour and meal is being sponsored by the Sterling Ag Commission and Ekonk Community Grange, 723 Ekonk Hill Road. Those participating must be in the Grange parking lot, ready to leave on a Sterling school bus, at promptly 4 p.m.

The first stop will be at Fat Goat Farmstead, a hobby farm where they have fruits, vegetables, bees, a small vineyard and a herd of dairy goats. The second and final stop is Ekonk Hill Turkey Farm where folks will get to see their turkeys and learn about their all natural foods. Then the bus will return to Ekonk Community Grange and guests will enjoy a three course meal created from Ekonk Hill Turkey farm turkeys and Sterling produce.

The cost is $20 per person. Space is limited. Tickets are available from Betsy's Farm Stand, Ekonk Hill Turkey Farm or Sue Gray at 860-564-2131. The Ekonk Community Grange Hall is handicapped accessible.
