Yes, you read that correctly! There will be a rehearsal of the degrees on Tuesday, Sept. 5. It’s been a while since we conferred the degrees, so we will take some time to run through the degrees and shake off some of the rust.

First and Second Degrees will be conferred on Tuesday, Sept. 12 and then the Third and Fourth will follow on the 19th. A Harvest Potluck Supper will precede the Third Degree on the 19th. We anticipate having FOUR new members taking the degrees!

We will welcome Jody Cameron and Jeff Barnes’ Installing Team on Sept. 26 for our annual Installation of Officers. It’s always a pleasure to witness their ritualism.

Our Grange Fair and Flea Market was a great success in August with great weather, moderate temperatures and a steady flow of visitors. Thank you to everyone who made the Fair possible.

Coming up on September 30 will be Winchester Center Day when the Grange, Fire Department, Congregational Church and Historical Association work together to present an event that shows off the best of Winchester Center, CT. The Grange’s portion of the event will be hosting an Art Show in our main hall, a Tag Sale in our dining room and homemade apple crisp and a selection of lunch items from Café 74. Admission to the event held throughout Winchester Center is free and will also feature live musical entertainment. Join us 10:30 to 2:30 on Sept. 30.
