| AUGUST 27, 2017 -- Here is a listing of meetings for Winchester Grange for September 2017. Thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know of the changes. Disregard the listing in the light green Pomona handbook… there are many changes.
- Tuesday, September 5, 7:00 pm – Rehearsal for Degrees. Only the members with speaking parts or floor work are asked to come to this special meeting.
- September 12, 7:00 pm – Regular meeting and the conferral of 1st and 2nd Degree. We have five people joining Winchester and it would be nice to have a good crowd to welcome them. There will NOT be a Country Store as listed in the handbook.
- September 19, 6:00 – Pot Luck supper, 7:00 pm – special meeting for conferral of 3rd and 4th Degrees. Note: NEW MEMBERS do not bring anything for the supper. You are our guests tonight. Degree team members and officers please wear white shirts and black or navy-blue pants or skirts.
- September 26, 7:00 pm – Open Meeting for Installation of Officers. The Cameron Installing Team will install our officers for 2017 – 2018. There will NOT be a pot luck this evening but help with the refreshments would be appreciated.
- September 30, Saturday, WINCHESTER CENTER DAY – 10:00 to 2:00, The Grange, Church, Historical Association, Little Red Schoolhouse and the Fire Department have big plans for events today! The Grange will have an Art Show in the upper hall, Apple Crisp for sale in the lower hall, hot dogs and more on the grill in the front yard and a big Tag Sale in the lower hall. The Tag Sale will benefit the Grange and FISH (the food pantry and shelter in Torrington) …call Ramona 860-482-2733 if you have items to donate.
