Winchester held its annual Fair and Flea Market on August 13 with a good turnout despite the wicked heat and humidity that day.
Plans are moving forward for our annual participation in Winchester Center Day on September 10. We will sell hot dogs and homemade apple crisp at the hall and the other organizations in Winchester Center will have a car show and various demonstrations during the day. It’s a fun late summer day in the beautiful surroundings of Winchester Center. Come on up and see us!
We have canceled our degrees for September and the Sept. 13 will be a regular meeting with program. The Sept. 20 meeting will be the installation of officers by the Cameron/Barnes Installing team.
We remind members that the St. Pauly Clothing Shed is a permanent fixture at the hall (behind the Post Office) and your donations of used clothing, shoes and other textiles are welcome and raise much needed money for the Grange. |
