Congratulations to Jason Miner who took third place at State in the Talent Contest representing New London County Pomona. We were disappointed that an emergency prevented our A-Number winner to participate in the State contest; but there is always next year!
Unhappily, Quinebaug Pomona has decided to close its doors. Happily, Senexet #40, Wolf Den #61, Ekonk Community #89, Killingly #112 and Ekonk Community Jr. #101 are now members of New London County Pomona No. 6. Welcome to all our new members. Please come to a meeting soon. Groton Grange will hold a brief meeting at 7:00 P.M. followed by our meeting at 7:30. Groton meets at St. Andrew’s Church on Route 1 in Groton. Hope to see a good crowd there.
The summer is upon us with its long and sultry days, with trips to beaches, picnics and our backyard grills ablaze.
Before we know it, fall will come with all those falling leaves. So don’t forget Pomona; and join us, if you please. |
