AUGUST 22, 2015 -- We look forward to presenting our annual Agricultural Fair on Sunday, August 30th. The days’ events are planned with families, children and adults in mind to demonstrate the values of the Grange. We’re ready for the crowds that attend our fair each year. It is our pleasure to present an authentic agricultural fair with the interior of the Grange Hall set up as an Exhibition Hall for the judged exhibits, as well as beautiful exhibits by our concessionaires and community organizations. There will be music, games and food available, too. Admission is $2 per person, OR $1 with a non-perishable for the Food Shelter.
Mark your calendar for our well-known Holiday Market on Saturday, December 5th. Our Holiday Market resembles the European Christmas Markets featuring handmade crafts, candies and baked goods, clothing and jewlery, plants and wreaths, food and music.
Of special note, we thank our Grange member, State Representative Gail Lavielle for hosting a highly acclaimed Legislative wrap-up for our Legislative Night featuring Gail, State Rep Tom O’Dea and State Senator Toni Boucher. Fabulous handouts summarizing legislative actions taken by both chambers, and a lively question and answer period with a very large and attentive audience. Well Done!! We’ll be holding another Legislative Night in the early new year. Stand by for the date.
We encourage all Grange members to visit as many Agricultural Fairs as possible this Summer, and support the local Grange.
