JULY 3, 2015 -- At our May 22 meeting we honored Mary Ann and Bill Ricker as our Community Citizens for 2015. The hall was filled with their admirers and supporters, with many testimonials to their good works. Master Robert Miner and State Master Noel Miller presented them with a plaque and certificates from the Grange and from the State of Connecticut.
The 2014 Queens and Princesses from the North Stonington Agricultural Fair rode our Grange float in the annual Memorial Day Parade. The sun came out and they sparkled their way through the throngs of people who lined the streets of town.l Many thanks to Richard and Gloria White for the use of their beautiful truck and hay wagon.
Don’t miss the 51st Annual North Stonington Agricultural Fair, July 9-12. There is lots of fun, food and entertainment for the whole family. Ride specials by Rockwell Amusements are featured some days. New parking arrangements get you off the street and into the fair faster. Hope to see you there. And if those big, black ants will just stay out in the yard, next time I’ll tell you about jolly June.
