JUNE 21, 2015 -- It’s time to play catch up. We finally had our meetings when scheduled. These pesky shoo flies are back and the shad is running up the Connecticut River.
Our April Neighbor’s Night was a wonderful success. There were 31 total in attendance. Hank came along with his master Noel and Marsha. A real old fashioned fun evening.
Then in May we managed to do the First and Second Degrees. Many have never seen them. Two people came from Colchester. Luckily our chair lift works great. Total of 25 with 19 from Lyme in attendance. Sue Pianka came for the second month in a row to play the piano for us. What a special lady even though she is very busy- she came.
We voted to support New London County Pomona with a gift card for the raffle at their festival.
Next meeting we will have our strawberry muffin bake-off.
Hope everyone enjoys these beautiful days. Just a reminder to watch out for those ticks and sunburn. They both can be harmful.
