Greenfield Hill News Update for April

By Dennis Rich

  APRIL 1, 2015 --

February continued to be active on the Junior Grange front.  The future Junior group produced cupcakes and heart-shaped candies on Valentine’s Day.  The cupcakes were sold and given out to Winter Farmer’s Market attendees.  At our regular meeting, we voted to approve having a Junior Grange.  We are very close to having the minimum number!  For the latest information, contact Cindy Wakeman at (203) 243-1887 or email: greenfieldhill133@gmail.com.

April promises to be active!  On the second and third weekends, the Penny Lane Players will present Shakespeare’s “Macbeth.”  Times are Fridays and Saturdays at 7 P.M. (10th, 11th, 17th & 18th) and Sunday matinees at 2 P.M. (12th & 19th).  Midday on the 18th, from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon, the Juniors will be involved with starting a gardening project.  Our regular meeting will focus on planting of trees and respect for nature and the environment.  On Saturday the 25th, we will have a Flea Market for Hoarders, which will run from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M.  Tables for vendors/sellers will be $15, call Steve at (203) 367-4373 for details.  Have a great Grange month!

All of our Grange friends are welcome at our meetings and activities!
