APRIL 7, 2015 -- By the time you read this I hope most of their snow will be gone.
I’m sure the ice fishermen have enjoyed the winter. As you drive by lakes and ponds you see these brave people trying their luck at winter fishing. It’s also been great for people who like to ski. They must be thrilled. However the rest of us have to tolerate the white stuff as there is nothing we can do about it.
We finally had our Feb. meeting the 4th cold Thursday night, yes it took four Thursdays to find a night. Twelve brave souls came out.
As for our March meeting, who knows?
Mother Nature sent us a good supply once again for our meeting night. We draped our charter in loving memory of Genevive Powaleny a 70 year member and Lillian Misheloff.
Hope everyone had a safe winter, no broken bones, etc. See ya at Neighbor’s Night in Lyme on Apr. 9.
