FEBRUARY 14, 2015 -- Once the plants and fruit baskets and cookies were delivered to our shut ins and the Christmas tray favors and Christmas Cards made and delivered to the Paridgrim Health Care Center it was time to look toward new projects. The New Year promises changes and more new projects for Prospect Grange. We hope all our Grange family and friends had a great holiday season.
We had 36 present at our Open house and awards day where State Master Noel Miller presented Minnie Wolvek with her 25 year certificate, Ronald Shea with his 50 year certificate and Frances and William Maxwell with their 60 year seals and Florine Wheeler with her 70 year seal. Congratulations to all. As the 25 and 50 year pins were at the Post Office the pins were presented at a later day.
Minnie Wolvek was presented with her 25 year membership pin at the Christmas Party by Master Tim Meehan.
We are planning a Heritage Day event in our town for around April or May with all the businesses in town involved. We hope this event goes well. It will take the help of all of our community to make it a success.
We are always looking for help and new members. |
