Around The Grange
Cannon Grange News for January 2015

By Don Offinger

  JANUARY 13, 2015 --

What a terrific Holiday Market that took place in our hall in early December!  Many thanks to Billiesue Hollingsworth for organizing all the vendors and market layout, and to Bil Mikulewicz and Doug Shepherd for preparing all the large signs that were set up around town to advertise the event.  The Holiday Market was very similar to those found in Europe with beautiful handmade crafts, unique gift items, candles and baked goods, plus refreshments and music.

A good crowd attended our program on GMOs, and a lively discussion ensued.  GMOs present in important topic regarding global production of food.  Thanks to John Kriz, our Lecturer for organizing this seminar.

We have some extraordinary and informative programs slated for the January, February, and March meetings.  Please mark your calendars, as these will be really interesting programs to attend.  These programs will be public forums, and will be held in the Cannon Grange Learning Center.
