| DECEMBER 10, 2014 -- I trust everyone is preparing for the holidays. Thanksgiving gave us all a time to look with gratitude over the past harvest. Christmas is sooner than we think, remember it is always less than 8 weeks after Halloween.
I hope everyone will think about shopping local,small businesses. I always look for practical gifts and begin my Christmas shopping by stopping at the Grange building at the Big E. I also attend our local Christmas Fairs.
Meriden Grange will be having our Christmas party on Dec. 12th and be part of the fun by bringing a wrapped unisex present. We will be having a Night Before Christmas present exchange. Hopefully our Overseer Mike will read the story for us again this year. All gifts should be in the $5 range.
Also remember that our last Grange Supper for 2014 will be in Dec. Look on our Facebook page for the date. As always, it is all you care to eat. With both the supper & the Christmas party, check the weather to see if the event is on.
