| NOVEMBER 12, 2014 -- Early October brought progress on two fronts. We had three members, Jared Keil and Jim and Steve Golias have conferred on them the Fifth Degree at the Pomona meeting on the 1st. This brings to six active members that have joined Pomona. Also looking ahead to 2015, we had a preliminary planning meeting for next year’s fair, where areas of responsibility were outlined. This year’s Fair resulted, as reported at our September meeting were found to be very successful.
A Winter’s Farmer’s Market has started at our hall at 1873 Hillside Road, Fairfield. Featured are fresh free range eggs, seasonal produce, organic greens, fresh baked pies and more. Refreshments are available. Hours are 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturdays through next March.
A Thanksgiving theme dinner is planned for November 17th. Note the times for dinner and meeting. Contact us at greenfieldhill133@gmail.com for information on our November and December activities.
