| OCTOBER 12, 2014 -- New London County Pomona hosted the annual Simply Antiques Festival on Sept. 20 located at 21 Wyassup Rd. at the North Stonington Fairgrounds from 10-3. A good time was had by all!
Newly elected Master Debbie Barnes reported the Fair has grown from previous years. The fair originally started with displays from local museums and local appraisal shops. Many of the new vendors were dressed in period costumes. The vendors were from Rhode Island and Connecticut.
One of the enjoyable new additions to the festival were the antique cars parading into and out of the fair beeping their old fashioned horns. There were to performers, Richard Tarryk on the accordion and Rick Spencer playing Americana Music. |
