Prospect Grange September News Update

By Jean Meehan

  SEPTEMBER 8, 2014 --

Prospect Grange continues to be very busy throughout the summer making tray favors for the Senior Center and the patients at the Paragon Health Center.  Our latest is a patriotic theme with Bald Eagles and Uncle Sam all made from recyclable items.  Items have also been made and given to the Meals on Wheels program to be delivered with the meals once a month.

We are happy to have Marilyn Maxwell home from California for a visit.  She has been busy working with the veterans in California, helping them get their benefits.

Our lecturer elect attended the North East Lecturer’s Conference and hopefully will be back some great program ideas.  She and her daughter also attended the North East Youth Conference in New Hampshire.

We personally presented two new residents with fruit baskets and a Welcome Letter from Prospect Grange along with literature about the grange. This is our newest method of looking for new members.
