AUGUST 22, 2014 -- Each summer, Cannon Grange holds an authentic agricultural fair that brings the community together.
2014 Grange Fair Scheduled for Sunday, August 24. 10:00 to 4:00, Rain or Shine.
The Association of Connecticut Fairs refers to the Cannon Grange Fair as "The Nicest Little Fair in CT". The fair is complete with judged exhibits in Bakery, locally grown Vegetables & Fruit, Flowers, Sewing & Needlework, Crafts, Photography, Eggs, Homemade Spirits, and farm animals. Ribbons are awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention placing. Large purple rosettes are awarded for Best in Show.
Also provided at the Fair are games and face-painting for children, local musical entertainment, and Food. Selected concessionaires are invited to sell their wares, local civic organizations participate, and local entertainment provides music and enjoyment through out the day. No alcoholic beverages are served or consumed on the premises.
Each year, the Cannon Grange Fair hosts a Rubber Duck Race along the Norwalk River that fronts the Grange property. Proceeds from the Duck Race supports local charities.

- Childrens' Games - special events throughout the day
- Watermelon Eating Contest - hosted by The Kirchof Family - 3:30 PM
- Auction of Flowers, Vegetables, Baked Goods - 4:15 PM
- Ice Cream will be provided by College Creamery
- Admission to the Fair: $1 per person, or a Canned Good item for the Wilton Food Pantry.

Organized in 1899, the Cannon Grange No.152, has its roots in the rural and agricultural history of Wilton, Connecticut. It is a community based organization that seeks to provide community service, fellowship, and family activities.
