| AUGUST 5, 2014 -- We’re delighted to welcome our newest member, Bil Mikulewicz, who joined our Grange from the excitement he and his wife have enjoyed over the years from our Silent Movie events and our annual Agricultural Fairs. A warm welcome to Bil! On the evening of our annual inspection exercise, we viewed a current film on the Colony Collapse Disorder that has affected honey bees and the impacts this phenomenon has had globally on agriculture and the production of food.
A delicious potluck picnic was held on July 2nd with healthy and nutritious entrees and side dishes including vegetables from the garden.
Plans for our 82nd annual Agricultural Fair are coming along. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, August 24th to enjoy our fair. It will be held rain or shine, from 10 AM - 4 PM.
We send our condolences to Cannon members Harry and Michele Clark & family on the recent passing of Harry’s dad.
