APRIL 28, 2014 -- Oxford Grange #194, Inc. will host its First Annual Small Business Fair on Saturday May 3 at its hall located at 482 Oxford Rd/CT Rte 67. The event runs from 9 AM to 2 PM and will highlight over 20 small area businesses by giving them a venue to show their goods and services to the general public.
Vendors include Heritage Financial Group of CT, Thrive Life On-Line Grocery, Envirocare Pest Control, Candlewood Equine, Casey's Creations (jewelry), Next Step Living, Alicorn Services, Tastefully Simple, John Munno Photography, Goldfinch Systems LLC, Unique Sisters Workshop, Wildtree organic Food, The Reiki connection, Al Werden handmade woodcrafts, and TLC Homecare, Entire Home Inc. generators, Daffodil Hill Growers, Brennans Shebeen Restaurant, Phoenix Propane, and a few other home based small businesses.
In addition to vendor displays, several of the representatives from these businesses will offer talks on topics of interest. Ron Emond, DVM of Candlewood equine LLC will talk at 11 AM on equine parasite control. Cara Donovan of Next Step Living will talk about home energy efficiency. Roberta Winters of TLC Homecare of Woodbury will talk about the services she offers. Peter and Lynn Aiksnoras of Heritage Financial LLC in Oxford will give talks on retirement financial planning. Dave Bisaillon of Envirocare Pest Control LLC will answer questions about vermin control.
There will be face painting for children in attendance. From food to various crafts, computer services, social services, we invite the public to come and see the great variety of high quality products and services available right here in your own backyard.
