APRIL 1, 2014 -- April is Grange month and Prospect Grange on April 2 will be honoring the teachers in Region 16 for their dedication their lives to educating the young citizens of our community. Their are 108 teachers in our Region 16 School System. This is our way of making the Grange known in our community and what Prospect Grange does in the community.
We have chosen a pee wee flag football coach that spends many days and week ends coaching these wee children in how to play football. He will be our Citizen of the Year. A presentation will be held April 27 at the Prospect Senior Center at 2 p.m.
On April 19 120 Easter baskets were passed out to the patients at the local convalescent home for Easter. These baskets were made and decorated by our grange members.
Our April 10th meeting is a neighbors night about dairy. All members are invited to come join in the fun at the lower level of the Prospect Senior Center behind the Prospect Police Station at 7:30 p.m. |
