MARCH 11, 2014 -- We have a beautifully renovated kitchen that looks terrific. We love it, the caterers who use our Hall for party rentals love it. Many thanks to our Doug Shepherd who masterminded the renovation. Many thanks to John & Diana McConnell who donated the cabinets and refrigerator. And thanks to Michelle McDonald and Don Offinger who helped along the way.
John Kriz presented an informative program on Nutrition and healthy eating habits. John is certainly one who “walks the talk” and knows what he’s talking about.
We’re wondering what other Grange Halls are paying for electricity. In light of recent local news of increasing kwh costs here in Connecticut, we had a recent bill of nearly 14-cents per kwh (North American Power & CL&P), and are interested to know if other Grange Halls pay a similar amount. Would make for an interesting survey.
