FEBRUARY 5, 2014 -- Oxford Grange will be hosting a gardening program to start Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 7:00 PM. The program will consist of six sessions and will run for three months with two sessions per month. It is free and open to the general public.
All sessions will be at the Grange Hall located at 482 Oxford Road (CT Route 67) in the center of Oxford, between the Oxford Center Firehouse and Center School.

The planned sessions are as follows:
February 13 - composting, garden preparation, and starting seeds under grow-lights
February 27 - choice of seeds for planting
March 13 - outdoor and container planting
March 27 - round table discussion of topics to be chosen by attendees
April 10 - pest control-weeds, insects and larger animal pests
April 24 - seedling swap, discussion on garden problem solving, and fall gardening |
