FEBRUARY 5, 2014 -- What we’ve been doing: The Bridgewater Grange remains active in the community. We had a meeting at the Grange Hall on Oct 9th and prepared for a successful roast beef dinner on Sat Oct 12th. A Hootenanny followed the dinner that night.
In November we had a pot luck dinner followed by a regular meeting. Fruit baskets were delivered to shut ins and people in nursing homes on Tuesday November 26th.
In December we had a pot luck dinner followed by a regular meeting at the Grange Hall on Wed December 4th. On Friday December 6th we watched the Bridgewater Christmas Tree lighting and then served cookies and hot chocolate at our Grange Hall. After that our hall will be closed for the winter.
What we’re planning: We will have meetings in the nearby Saint Marks Episcopal Church for the months of January, February and March. All the meeting will be at 2 PM on a Sunday at the church. Jan 12th, Feb 9th and Mar 9th are the dates
Our Grange Hall will reopen in April and we will have a regular meeting on Wednesday April 9th at 7:30 PM. On Tuesday April 15th we will deliver Easter plants to shut ins and people in nursing homes. On Saturday April 19th we will have an Easter egg hunt. It will start at 10 AM at the Bridgewater Town park.
