JANUARY 24, 2014 -- John Kriz, local Chapter Leader of the Weston A. Price Foundation, will be presenting a talk on nutrition and maintaining a healthy weight hosted by Cannon Grange on Thursday, February 6th, at 7:30 PM. Admission is free, and the public is invited and encouraged to attend.
Cannon Grange Hall is located at 25 Cannon Road in Wilton, with free parking available at the Grange Hall, Cannondale Village and at the Cannondale Railroad Station. The Grange Hall is within walking distance of Mass Transit - Metro North railroad (Cannondale) and the Danbury Link Bus. Plan to arrive early for best seating.
Kriz will be highlighting nutritional programs and ways to combat adult and childhood obesity, as well as basic strategies for a healthy lifestyle. Kriz is also a member and officer of Cannon Grange.
The Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism.
