FEBRUARY 6, 2014 -- Hillstown Grange will be holding a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Take a break from the winter blahs and come relax and enjoy pancakes, sausage, bottomless cups of coffee, tea and juice for just $5.00; extra sausage just 25 cents each; children under 10 just $3.00. Special “kid-cakes” will be available with chocolate chips.
Along with breakfast, Hillstown Grange will be holding a garden chat and seed exchange to prepare for the start of the 2014 gardening season. If you have any old or extra seeds, seed catalogs, and gardening books, bring them with you to share and add to your garden this year.
Hillstown Grange has recently replaced our roof and this is a fundraiser to help pay off the roof loan, so please come to eat or just stop by and visit the historic Hillstown Grange Hall.
Hillstown Grange is located at 617 Hills Street, in the Hillstown corner of East Hartford, Connecticut. We have been serving East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Manchester since 1888. The Grange is one of the oldest agricultural and community service organizations in the United States.
If there is snow on the road, the breakfast will be cancelled. For more information on this event, call Helene at 860-568-6268, Frank at 860-690-2845 or e-mail hillstowngrange@aol.com.
