| NOVEMBER 10, 2013 -- Hi Everyone! Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. It’s been busy at Cawasa Grange.
This year we passed out dictionaries to third graders at Cherry Brook Elementary School in Canton.
We presented 13 Scholarships at Canton High School this year for a total of $50,000 from the Cawasa Grange Memorial Scholarship Fund. We have one Scholarship for $20,000 and the $30,000 is split up among 12 other students in the school. They were very pleased to receive that gift and we received lovely thank you notes from the recipients.
We plan to get back to making something for the food bank next year.
Joanne Ritchie is going to New Hampshire to take her 7th Degree. Lin and I are planning on going up for the day. |
