| NOVEMBER 1, 2013 -- The Bridgewater grange was very active this past August and September. We had a regular meeting at our Grange hall on Wednesday August 14th.
Then on Friday August 16th we opened the hall for public use during the Bridgewater Fireman’s Parade. We had over 20 people (members, friends and family) at our pizza party and then we watched the parade.
In September we had a combined meeting and picnic at Master Nancy Mascio’s house on Tuesday Sept 10th at 6:30 pm. We then a busy week preparing for our first roast beef dinner which was held on September 14th at 5:30. We had a very successful dinner followed by a Hootenanny with Jeff Case and Friends.
In October we will held a regular meeting at our hall on October 9th. We had another roast beef dinner on Saturday October 12th at 5:30 PM which was followed by a Hootenanny.
We mourn the loss of one of our sisters Dorthea Defriesse. She bravely battle cancer for several years and passed on this summer. |
